Had a great photo walk with some friends around Bristol yesterday. For the last few months I’ve almost entirely shot tripod photos, has been quite refreshing last couple of photo trips just walking around with a 50mm prime taking hand held shots.

Ghosts of London blur
Millennium Bridge and homeless guy
Went down to the Millennium Bridge in London to get this shot that many, many others also photo. When I got here there was a big queue of people with cameras and tripods waiting to get the central shot. Luckily I only had to wait 10 minutes to get to the centre and the homeless guy was still asleep when I got my spot.
This was taken as a 30 second long exposure ISO400 with an F/22 on my Sigma 10-22mm lens. Just as I got my last shot the homeless guy wokeup and walked away. Was really chuffed to get this shot!
Skeleton of hastings
Whilst walking around Hastings I came across this cool second hand shop in one of the back turnings near the church. They had this cool looking skeleton dressed up. I think I actually went past this shop 4 or 5 times during the day, each time trying to get a better picture. The shop owner must of thought I was a weirdo
Up the garden path in Hastings
There are many unusual and eclectic things to find in Hastings from the locals to the shops and streets and a very friendly atmosphere. I ended up chatting to a lady on the beach for the best part on an hour but had go and take some photos!
Here’s a great looking shop I found wandering around Hastings town ‘Up the garden path’, I think they sell bits and bobs for your garden.
