Took another explore at Lillesden School for Girls last Sunday as had two friends who wanted to check it out. Had a great day out and spent a few hours in the basement doing some crazy stuff. This was the last photo I took that day and came out pretty cool I think 🙂
Im getting quite taken by night photography lately heres a shot from tonight down near Mickleham in Surrey. Quick tips if your interested in trying some night photography. Tripod is a must if theres a light source like street lighting 30 second exposure should be ok if no light or little light then bulb mode and 2 mins exposure works well for me and get a torch app for your phone to add a bit of light 🙂
This photo is taken at Rosehill in Carshalton looking across the crossing and shops. This was the first time I took my camera out in the rain to try and catch the reflections in the puddles. As my camera is not weatherproof I bought a little DSLR rainbag on eBay for about £10. Only problem is my 8mm fisheye I was using is so wide I can’t cover the lens with the bag otherwise the bag will be in the frame. This was ok when the rain eased up but when the rain was coming meant I got some rain drops on the glass, spoiling my pictures.
Ive got so much camera gear now that I had to buy a new camera bag. Ive been using a Nikon messenger bag up until now but it’s just not big enough. So I decided a back pack type would be better even though I prefer a messenger type as I need the extra room. So I ordered a Kata DR-467i backpack.
These bags are fantastic quality and the price is very good for what your getting. Kata actually make bags for the Israeli military so durability is key.
