A week in Dubai photographing the city mainly through the night and trying to get as many high vantage points as we could through the city. At night the city does come alive with the lights and colours.
Windermere is the largest natural lake in England. It is a ribbon lake formed in a glacial trough after the retreat of ice at the start of the current interglacial period. It has been one of the country’s most popular places for holidays and summer homes since the arrival of the Kendal and Windermere Railway’s branch line in 1847. Historically forming part of the border between Lancashire and Westmorland, it is now within the county of Cumbria and the Lake District National Park.
A long exposure night time shot in Headley Heath car park. It was pitch black with just my Galaxy Note and a torch app I downloaded, really like how my phone creates a very even soft light. Shot at ISO 200, f/11 aperture with a shutter open for 112 seconds.
From my late night walk in the rain around Carshalton taken at 3.30am inbetween of the rain letting up as a 30 second exposure.
